Taka Komagata

Tenor Taka Komagata brings his earnest vocal style to classical music internationally. His unique voice and genuine interpretation bring new life to his repertoire. He recently debuted in Bulgaria as Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi) and performed the Tenor Solo in Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor with Varna International Music Academy in June 2019. Recent engagements include Ferrando (Così fan tutte), Baron Zsupán (Countess Maritza), Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Le Surintendant des plaisirs (Cendrillon), and the title role of Der Zwerg. Taka is the co-founder of Balcony Series and holds a Graduate Performance Diploma in Opera Performance and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance at Longy School of Music of Bard College.
